Attention all Families!

Title 1 Family Night

Our next West Gate family night will take place on March 23^rd from 5:00 - 6:30 PM. We will have a reading and math party! Come learn how to help your students on tests, enjoy some healthy snacks and receive a free party bag and book! Have fun learning with us! We hope to see all of you. Parents must attend with their children.

Girls on the Run

Girls on the Run is a 10-12 week after school program that uses the power of running to help prepare girls grades 3 through 8 for a lifetime of self-respect and healthy living. The program includes running, playing games, and discussing topics such as dealing with body image and the media, resisting peer pressure, making healthy decisions, and contributing to the community. The program begins March 8th and ends May 22nd.

Girls on the Run begins Monday, March 8th. Members should report to Room 310 every Monday and Wednesday after school from 3:30-4:30. We will meet rain or shine. Please be sure to bring running shoes, running clothes, and a water bottle to each practice. Snacks will be provided. Please contact Mrs. Nolde or Ms. Westhead with any questions or concerns at (703) 368-4404.

Our fifth graders will attend a sixth grade orientation at
StonewallMiddle School on the morning of April 9^th.
